Have you ever felt stuck? -"When She Cried" a companion poem to "When She Cries" by Britt Nicole

“When She Cried”
By Kristia S.
A companion Poem to the song “When She Cries” by Britt Nicole

Jesus’s heart is breaking
As He watches from the sky above
Such torment he is seeing
All He can offer is His Love
He sees her tears; even though, they stay on the inside
Her friends and family wishing she would bring them to the outside
But she hasn’t
She stays silent
Because this is all she’s ever known

For the people that surround her wonder…
Even after all these years…
Does she know?
Does she care?
Does she know the difference?
Does she still even feel the danger, anymore?
Has the damage have been done to the point of no return?
Will she ever take action?
Even when it concerns the ones she loves most?

Abused, abused, and abused
That is all she’s ever known
Used, used, and used
She may not know it any other way
But He feels there is still hope
Or He wouldn’t have revealed this now

He wouldn’t have made this seen to a friend that wasn’t aware
He wouldn’t have gave the knowledge to the others that it has happened to them before
He wouldn’t have made it known to those who are lucky that it never happened to them

One of those friends, the lucky one, she recalls the one that cries silently
The hurt one, may never cried outward, but the friend feels that the one that hurts wants to
She also may recall the hurt one wishing she would have died
When she took a gun out that one night
Even if she had told her it wasn’t loaded
All the long the barrel was kept out of sight
The friend had shrugged it off as typical for the age
That the hurt one would have gotten over it
And that everyone goes through that stage
The friend feels that the hurt one feels that she is worthless
That that’s all she’s good for
And that everything is hopeless

But Jesus knows…
She is not worthless
And that nothing is hopeless
By His power, He gives hope to every dark corner
Even if that dark corner concerns a loved one that has done wrong
He knows, if the hurting one would only pray…
And that her friends would gather…
They may…
Keep that dark corner at bay…
And to never return…
All she would have is the memories of when she cried

I am in a bad situation right now, guys. I don't know if I'll blog much for a while. I'm going through a revelation right now and it's a bit overwhelming. It barely concerns me, if any at all, but it concerns people I care for deeply. And I feel kind of hopeless about it, as of now.
Ah...I don't know why I opened my big mouth on here about these certain things, when it isn't my place to talk about it, or give anyone a hint on what's going on. I guess this is my way of coping, or I would go absolutely insane. I just feel really sick right now.
This poem isn't about me, by the way. I was just inspired to write it all the sudden. I know it sucks, but I needed to get it out, or it would have driven me crazy. Honestly, this is a hopeful poem. I'm hoping this is how someone would feel in this situation, but I'm not entirely sure how a certain person would feel.
Take a listen to the song that helped me to get this poem out. "When She Cries" by Britt Nicole. It's sad and beautiful at the same time.

I'm off for now, my head still feels slightly dizzy and absorbing things. I would really appreciate prayers being sent this way, not for me, but for my loved ones. They're the ones that need it, not me.

I love you, guys, even if I don't know you personally or ever met in person. :)

My Easter Sunday. Jesus was there in the midst!

My Easter Sunday began very early Sunday morning, 5:00A.M to be exact. And I didn’t go to sleep until like 3 A.M. O,0 yeah…I was tired. I stayed up late, due to watching a Doctor Who marathon. Getting caught up on the last few episodes I missed last season. The new episode is like…WOAH. I don’t know what to think. I’m still rooting for a romance between the Doctor and Amy! BUT, anyways, I traveled off topic there.
I got up at five and met the youth group at six. I was kind of zombie like. Lol. It was about to storm, because I heard thunder in the distance and few flashes of lightning in the clouds. But, we were still going through with out yearly sunrise service. Even though, Curtis has been having health problems with his foot, he still got on that hike and made it to the top! XD That man is really inspirational! He just says, “Jesus went through worse.” And that makes him go!
However, we hike the hill to the clearing where we have the service. The perfect view of the sunrise, and the worst place to be at when there is a thunder and lightning storm heading our way. O.0 Well when we saw that the storm was coming fast, we decided that perhaps we should finish it up on Linny’s porch off the hill. So before we left, we sung a few praising songs. Then, like a miracle, the storm started to clear up and move away from our way! We kept singing until the storm was farther away, then Curtis began the scripture and testimonies from everyone.
We decided to go onto the next part we stand to watch the sun come up. But the amazing view wasn’t the sun rising, to symbolize Jesus’s rise from his tomb over two thousand years ago. It was the rainbow that appeared behind us from the storm clouds. It was amazing, we really felt Jesus there that morning.

My nephews, Logan, Braxton, and Nicholas, had their program with reciting quotes and singing. Too cute!

Then we had our Easter play. We reenacted the book of John. I played Mary Magdalene. :D I haven’t had the chance to do anything like that until this year. I usually play a angel, or a mouthy, bossy mother in a Christmas play a few years ago (psst, I enjoyed bossing my “kids” around. But what was weird, my cousin Devin played my husband. O,o LOL).
We only practiced it once through, only had the time for that much. Not many of our youth showed, so we had to make do with what we had. Curtis was smart by casting the day of the thing because none of the stars probably wouldn’t have showed up, anyways.
We did good, could have been better if we practiced more. The music is what stole the show though. Especially, when my cousin Ryan played his chello, and the new guy Brandon played the guitar along with him. They made up a song on the spot! LIVE! It was amazing! That goes to show what God can bless you with.

So that was my Easter Sunday! It was amazing and fun! :D Best one yet!

Well gotta go to sleep. Have math classes in the morning. :)

ANYWAYS, Hannah is going to europe soon. >_< (gonna kill me with out the constant contact with her. If any at all while she's there.) So, she would REALLY like (me too, and Gwen as well) would like to see her in the top five on inkpop before she goes! lol. She's currently at 15 right now. Can ya'll help a girl out?

    Art speaks volumes.
Life seems normal until your drawings start talking. And for Sage, that's exactly what happened after her father, a self proclaimed artist, vanished into thin air when she was twelve. The voices hit, bringing pain and torture with them. Dubbed schizophrenic, no one ever knew the voices in her head were actually real. Granted, they were dead, but when drawn on paper they held new life. Too bad Sage could not stand the stories, the screaming; the incessant pounding the souls brought to her head. After four straight years of torment, all she wanted was silence.

When she meets the mysterious Aden at the local art store, Sage’s wish is granted. The souls stay quiet, and she’s amazed at the peace Aden’s presence brings. Then there is an offer. One that may make the voices disappear permanently. And there is no way she could refuse.

The only catch: it will cost her her soul.

Will Sage be willing to pay the price for silence, or will she drown in her own terrifying insanity?

And PLEASE read it here!!!! Silence on

Big Ole' Brainstorm! Spider dreams, and my G.E.D test date!

Hannah Hunt pointed me
in the direction of this book.

Well I barrowed many books on writing the other day from the library. ^_^ I think I may went over board, honestly. But I barely get to the library. So yeah I got as many as I could carry. No telling whenever I'll get back there. So anyways, I'm reading on "Bird by Bird" by Anne Lamott and "The Longman Writer's Bible", and I've found some pretty good information and methods. Some of these methods and information in each one of these books are a bit contradicting to each other. But *shrugs* I guess whatever works for that certain writer.
Today I searched for a method about brainstorming and outlining. Where I'm going to be busy with "Soul Purpose" here sometime. I may juggle it and "Invisible Heart." But considering I know more about the guts of Invisible Heart, than Soul Purpose. I'll probably be outlining Soul Purpose more than Invisible Heart.
Anyways, I have discovered that drawing helps me a little with brainstorming. I don't mean like drawing a scene or anything, I mean stick figures and info boxes beside the named stick figure. :P It's funny what I drew today. However, Soul Purpose got a WHOLE makeover, which will be a secret, because it doesn't reveal until the end of the book. I'll be introducing Willa in the first of the three parts of the book, and Gage in the second part of the book, then of course, the conclusion would be on equal parts of them both. Of course, Gage and Willa are in all parts of the book. I'm just going to switch around the POVs until the second half.
The plot is coming along smoothly so far! Willa and Gage are going to be adorable! ;D

I HATE these things!
I don't CARE if they're harmless!

Okay, I just had an IM conversation with my GOOD friend Mariella Hunt, about nightmares. Well I got onto the funny subject of me having the constant occasion of having a spider nightmare. I swear it happens every other two weeks to a month! It NEVER fails. Alright, I have a HUGE phobia of spiders--well not that big when I'm fully awake. I kill them without squeaming or anything. But when I'm asleep I squeal like a frigg'in little kid! I ALWAYS dream about a Grand Daddy Long Leg, crawling on my bed, head, chest, and sometimes feet. So this nightmare makes me hallucinate, when I'm partcially awake in the middle of the night. I swear my eyes are like O_O. I'm squealing and jumping, waking my grandmother up and all of that. She tells me to calm down and that I'm dreaming. But NO, I swear up and down that there is a spider in my bed. Then later on, I feel like a TOTAL DUFUS for it all! HAHA.
I just had to share that. Now I'll probably do it tonight, for crying out loud!
Got a announcement pertaining to my education! I passed my G.E.D Pre-Test last week! Well the math part anyways, the one I had to retake. So now I can move on and take a whack at the official exam on May 16th-17th! And the 17th is my birthday! Nice way to spend it, huh? Ehhh I think not. But maybe God's birthday present to me will be me passing the darn toot'in thing! :P *prays to the Lord* I'm VERY nervous. No matter what they say about how I got through the worst part of it. I don't BELIEVE them! >_<

   Nevertheless, goodnight bloggers!

A song inspriation for "Invisible Heart"

This girl sings so beautifully! It should be illegal for this girl to not be already on a recording label!
This song really fits along with Aly and Malakai's relationship about almost all the way through the book. At how Aly finds herself caring very deeply for Kai and he doesn't see it. Even when she's standing in front of him displaying how she feels. He just doesn't take notice (or perhaps don't want to notice), that Aly cares about him. And his own father leads him astray, and still Aly has a confidence in him as she stands by waiting for him to realize.
Michelle here, has displayed and inspried me about this sistuation with Aly and Kai to an extreame, through her beautiful voice, guitar, and awesprirging song. It's just simply gorgeous!
I felt a HUGE need to post about Michelle, her song, her talent, and about my new inspriation! :)
Now I wish I could get this song on CD and play it over and over without killing my badwidth! LOL. But I know it won't be for long before this lovely girl will be on a recording label! She's just that amazingly talented! I can't wait until I get my hands on one of her CDs!
Please check out this song and the rest of her stuff on her channel!

Well that's it for blogging today! I'm off to hopefully get a little bit closer to finishing Time With Seleste-Destiny. (I still haven't finished it. Eck. It was postponed due to me reworking the ending plot a little, before I wrote it out. Now it agrees with how I'm going to start out the second book! :D)
With lots of love, ya'll! <3<3<3

Soul Purpose scene summary. And a shoutbox added to blog, along with a soundtrack!

I have blogged about the dystopia novel "Soul Purpose" for at the most of two months now. I have been brainstorming for a while now. And I have been comtemplating plot points too. Like how I'm considering on having aliens in it too. But then again I may not. It's an ify thing.

However, I have this scene summary I'll be excited to write here some time soo. Here's a screen capture of the notes I've made tonight.

Hey I've got a shoutbox ->
leave me a shout about anything! I would really like to hear about the layout and my "Time With Seleste-Destiny" soundtrack at the bottom of my blog.

Well I'm off! Night all!

Blog make over! And forget my frigg'in deadline/goal! I'm finishing when I'm good and ready!

See my purty new layout design????!!! I worked on it ALL day! Comment on it please! I'm really proud of it and want to hear what ya'll think!

The people in order from the left. Steven R. McQueen (Darien Marks), and the two behind him is Catherine Belle (Valerie Marks) and Vanessa Hudgens (Andrea Marks)
Then on the right stands Lucy Hale (Seleste Worthington) and in the back of her are Jackson Rathbone (Joshua Worthington) and Mischa Collins (Demitri Foley -which he may go through a name change-)

            Okay ya'll.
I blogged last week about the deal I made with myself. And the deal was to get Time With Seleste finished in one week. Well...things happened (see previous post) and I didn't get to write as much I would like, and also my fault about having a lazy day or two as well. :/ So yeah I added a extra day onto my deadline--which that extra was today. Well instead of getting it finished tonight...I'll have to postpone it again. GAH! I'm so friggin tired and my brain isn't functioning again! I have been in a writing intense scenes mode for at least two or three hours! And I'm not used to that! My fingers hasn't typed so friggin fast in FOREVER! I have gotten in tuned with TWS once again!
Anyways, realizing while I'm writing this blog when I should be forcing a couple more thousand words of TWS out of me. I'm heading to bed so I can get up in the morning to take a PRE-Pre GED test.

So, I'm going to leave you bloggers a treat from my last chapters of TWS!

Click on the screen capture to enlarge it, if you can't read
Well I'm off to get some sleep.

My Church Recovering From Storm Damage--My Youth Group featured on our local news

"Church Service Held Outdoors Wednesday"
By Nicky Walters On Channel 13 News WOWK West VirginiaEmail | Bio | Other Stories by Nicky Walters
CHARLESTON  -- Strong winds caused a great deal of damage Monday, and many folks are still dealing with the aftermath. The roof was ripped off of the Valley Grove Nazarene Church on Rutledge Road in Kanawha County, causing thousands of dollars worth of damage.
But that wasn't enough to get church members down. They decided to worship outdoors instead.
During services Wednesday night members spoke often of the challenges ahead. But as they sang, linked arms and prayed, they found strength in god and each other.
"We didn't want to cancel services," said church member Ashley Burgess. "We may not have a building but you don't need a building to have church."
The church has insurance so they are going to be able to rebuild. They are hoping to come back even bigger and better than before.
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." -- Hebrews 13:5

As this report says, I agree that we’ll come back bigger than ever! We were already big before. Where we are one of the biggest congregation of teens in our state. Our average of teens is 23 every Wednesday night, and 10-15 every Sunday morning. That’s not including the chaperones and youth leaders. Hopefully, we’ll double those numbers when our building is rebuilt and refurnished.

I will admit this. I wasn’t for sure if we were going to have church, with considering what has happened to our church. But I did have a feeling that we would somehow. We’re known to have church in blizzards, rain storms, wind storms, and also when the power is out. It’s an rare occasion to not gather for church. Even if it comes down to have to go somewhere else, set up a tent, or even go underneath our shelter across the road from our beautiful church –which we did. Either way we were going to meet with God wherever and whenever.

My soul was lifted when my youth pastor Curtis Harris picked me up for church yesterday. He was all smiles and laughs, when I felt a frown on my face and wanted to cry on the inside. That man doesn’t let anything get him down, I tell you! I’ve barely seen him down in the dumps. Seeing him in high spirits lifted mine.

When we all got to church. Curtis took us on a tour of the damage of our once beautiful activities building. I took pictures while we went through. It was very painful for me to see. This church is a second home to me, as it is to a lot of people. I am almost there as much as I am home. My life has changed here, I have worshiped the Lord countless of times, slept here when we would have our lock ins, I have cried out to the Lord here, and had bountiful laughs in this place. It hurts to see that it was almost destroyed by the storm we had Monday night.

I didn’t know that the wind blew that hard! Surprisingly, it didn’t where I live. Usually we’re the ones that gets the worse of it, and would have to do without electric for a week at a time. But it switched this time around! They had gotten the worse of the storm, and their power was out for three days! The water was only out due to the electric couldn’t power up the water pump onto our water line. So I didn't get a shower for those three days. Ehh...

As you can see in the pictures it’s pretty bad. But I and many others look at it this way—it could have been worse. The whole building could have been blown away!                                                                  What I have heard—I may have heard wrong—the damage cost is around $50,000 dollars. Praise the Lord, that the insurance company will cover it! We’ll need a new roof, wall paneling, ceiling covering, overhead lights, carpeting, and that’s just the repairs. There is other stuff that’ll probably need replaced if the water hasn’t ruined them. The things off the top of my head would be, a piano, some game tables, play props, a projector, speakers, and I’m not for sure, but the kitchen appliances probably got a great deal of water on them, however they could be fine. No matter, it will still cost a lot, even if some of the things were spared of damage.

All considering, we still met with God outside in the cold air. It did not discourage us to gather in his presence, or our faith in the Lord.                       We make our alter wherever we meet with him. As the saying goes, whenever three gather in his name, God is among them. Boy, did we feel God last night with our 42 people gathering! We played—well, they played, I didn’t—football, and a boy fell in the creek due to horse playing. Curtis made a joke with “He got Baptized his first night!”. The boy really wasn’t baptized, it was an accident involving a very wet, cold creek. He is this cute little blonde boy who just started coming last night with a few of his friends.

Surprisingly, we had our normal routine of having food, fun, and fellowship. The power was out, and the person-Vicki- who is in charge of cooking, she fixed our food on a gas stove. It was yummy! ;) Barbequed meat balls, chicken nuggets, and Gino’s pizza. :) We didn’t expect it. It was such a beautiful and amazing gathering. It was beautiful to see all these people to come out with us, and it was amazing at how supportive and comforting everyone was. It makes a person realize that God is watching over his children with the way he blesses us, even in the toughest of times when a tragedy has struck. He is there no matter what happened, and whenever it came to pass.

Last night has for surely opened my eyes even more than before. I feel like praising the Lord in the highest right now just reviewing it over in my mind. Just seeing everyone there, and the blessings we received in the midst of all of this. However, the biggest blessing we received last night was God’s overwhelming presence. He is for surely omipresent around us, we just don't acknowledge Him until we really feel Him in these certain moments. Also, another blessing with the chance to witness our love for the Lord on our local news channel. (As you see above in this post) That in its self was pretty awesome in my opinion. (Even if I really didn’t want to be on camera where I looked like ehhh… lol. Our water was off! So I have an excuse! lol)

Brittany played guitar, Ashley and Sarah lead the singing, and we followed along joyously. Curtis started the lesson on judgment on others, and that favoritism is a sin. Which you almost would have to be there to understand what he was talking about. Trust me it made sense and opened many eyes.  The news people stayed nearby and filmed randomly and respectfully, making sure they wouldn't disturb our service. I have to admit it was exciting that the youth group was going to be on the news. I kept thinking that people will see our youth group in its truest form in praising God. That excited me the most out of all other reasons.

We sung “How He Loves” by David Crowder Band. That song really moves us, and it fitted the emotion we held and it lifted our spirits even more. You can hear some of the song in the segment above, and below I posted a youtube video of the song. It’s really beautiful.
(Lyrics) “He is jealous for me/ loves like a hurricane/ and I am a tree/ bending beneath the weight of His wind and mercy/”
These lyrics I just quoted, fitted us well. His love blew over us like a hurricane last night, and we were trees bending beneath His wind and mercy.
God does love us! He loves everyone!

My cousin Ashley is right (the girl in the segment), we don’t have to have a building to praise God in. All we need is whoever that will gather in His name and meet with Him! We should not get attached to materialized things, we need to get more attached to God and His love. It is beautiful to know that we can do this, and even gather more teens we have had in months in doing so! It’s amazing!
My, how to end this—what feels like to me—epic blog post? With a song? Okay! How about this song I am feeling immersed in the most?
“You Never Let Go” by Matt Redman.
(Lyrics)“Oh no You never let go/through the calm and through the storm/Oh no You never let go/every high and every low/”

Talk to you guys later! I felt like I had to share this experience with you! And hopefully inspire you somehow!

With lots of love, Kristia S.
God Bless you always<3<3<3

A sniper/murder lived CLOSE to me. Community clean up. Making a deal with myself.

Well I haven't blogged in ages. HERE WE GO WITH A RUN DOWN!

Firstly, I don't know if anyone outside my state has heard about "The Gas Station Sniper" has been caught. Well let me go into a little bit more detail on it. Eight years ago a sniper attacked three gas stations in the same month, killing three people--Jeanie Patton, Okie Meadows, and Gary Carrier. The sniper used a 22 rifle and drove a dark color Ford truck. This case has been cold sense 2003, until recently, when the police arrested Shawn Lester. He has buried his truck (and possibly rifle) on some 53 acre farmland. He has admitted to one of the killings-Jeanie Patton, but not to the other two, who was killed by the same rifle. The reason behind him killing Jeanie, it was because her and her boyfriend "stole" a truck engine from a garage he was in charge of. And the engine block was filled with meth.
0.O Yup, drug motive.
Get this ya'll!
He didn't live far from me! I'm talking almost walking distance! And I used to be best friends with his niece (which we aren't anymore)! I knew that family had a crazy gene, because I saw it first hand with his niece. But I wouldn't think he'd resolve to killing someone. Makes me not want to step on his niece's toes anymore. 0.O Like I have any beef with her anymore, anyways. But still.

I'm just glad that this case is coming to a close soon. The families of the ones he killed has haven't gotten any peace about their loved one's deaths for eight years! It just freaks me out that he lived THAT CLOSE to me. Ekk!
DUDE, I am so sore I am walking around like I've rode a horse for days on end. Wanna know why? Well...I pretty much walked (and some jogging) seven miles yesterday, cleaning up trash in my holler with my youth group. I'm sore in places that I didn't think was possible to be sore at.
You wouldn't believe how many beer bottles I picked up! I mean the people that live on my road has to not have any livers left!
The craziest things we picked up was, a fire extinguisher, a truck's tailgate, a DVD player, and a Pokemon VHS. Seriously, it's crazy what people litter on the sides on the roads! It's disgusting! I am NEVER littering again! Especially after working from 9 to 5 *starts humming "Working From Nine to Five"* cleaning up the crap, gahhh. And there was this one guy that had the NERVE to cuss at my church youth group out about cleaning up!
(Excuse my language)
We were just walking along picking up the trash and a truck stopped.
"You tell me you guys are out here cleaning up all this shit! Well you're going to be here for a hell of a long time!" then they speed off squealing their wheels.
But guess what?
We got that road done in a hour! HA! In your faces jerks!
So yeahhh...I can barely move without wanting to scream in pain! lol. Oh YEAH, my brand new LG Optimus Andriod phone of mine? Well it went in the creek when I was running! GAH! I am sooo depressed by it! My screen is so screwed up with water in it! (rice doesn't work, I don't care what you say, it's not coming out) I also lost my back to my phone!
So my mom ordered me another one, instead of replacing it. BECAUSE the replacement plan with Sprint can send me a totally different phone (which would be a equal value of mine I have) and it would be used. So my mom's phone is up for an upgrade, so she's going to let me have it and she keeps her old phone that she loves.

Okay I have been so distracted lately with other writing projects and my GED classes, that I really haven't sat down and wrote a book out fully. And this week, considering I don't have much to go with Time With Seleste's first draft, I'm going to finish it by sunday! I am bound and DETERMIND! I wrote about 10k last week, by taking 2k a day. But I did hit miss a day or two, where I did that community clean up and was VERY tired from some days after school. But I think I can finish Time With Seleste's first book's first draft! (wow that was a mouth full) I'm really not far from where I want to stop it! *squeals*

Well got to go to bed ya'lls! School in the morning.

Love yas!

God Bless<3<3<3
